# Required Microsoft Teams Configurations

> Microsoft Teams policies can prevent the Reevo Notetaker from joining meetings anonymously. Review these settings if the bot cannot join.

The Reevo Notetaker joins Microsoft Teams meetings as an anonymous participant. It does not sign in with a Reevo Microsoft account, so Microsoft Teams External Access domain allowlisting does not apply.

Most Teams meetings require no tenant-wide setup. If anonymous access is restricted for the meeting organizer, a Microsoft Workspace Admin may need to adjust one or more of the settings below. The bot may still wait in the lobby and require admission by the host or a co-organizer unless the meeting allows anonymous participants to bypass the lobby.

### Meeting Settings

The Reevo Notetaker may be unable to join when:

* Anonymous users cannot join meetings
* Anonymous users cannot join without email verification
* Anonymous or untrusted users must complete a verification check

Your Microsoft Workspace Admin will need to adjust the settings to allow access.

    By default, some Microsoft tenants block anonymous users from joining Teams meetings. The Reevo Notetaker joins as an anonymous participant, so this setting must be configured to allow it.

        * Headless browsers

        **Who can still get in:**

        * Real humans who can complete the email verification
